About Chris Mason
I have spent most of my life around the Shoalhaven Shire.
Since 2020 I have worked as an Independent Support Worker
For nine years prior to that I worked as a disability support worker in group homes for NSW government and the private sector.
The things I have enjoyed most during this time were the outings that we went on. I regularly took the people
who I cared for on BBQs, shopping, and walks. Other activities included bike riding, swimming.
We used to go to the art gallery and library. I am good with computers so always took pictures and sometimes
video of the outings and put them onto the person’s computer.
I can help with set up of computers. I can teach you how to get your email and do searching on the internet.
I am happy to take people for appointments or for day trips to the beach, or shopping and site seeing.
I am active, going for walks, bike rides, fishing and surfing often. If people are interested I can take them,
I have a spare surfboard.
I was an active member of the Shoalhaven Garden Club for several years, as the publicity person I sent articles
to the local newspaper each month.
I have been going to Ballroom dancing at the local club for many years.
