Support services team: Caring, skilled, and supportive.

My name is Chris and I have Five years’ experience as an independent support worker and 10 years’ experience as a disability support worker in group homes. I hold a certificate IV in disability support , a diploma of community services, and a diploma of counselling.

I love to support my clients at home and in the community by helping to get the things done that they want to get done. Often this involves running errands if one of my clients is not up to doing it themselves on the day. In my clients’ home, I can assist with cleaning, meal preparation, lawn mowing and garden maintenance. In the community I help my clients attend appointments, have morning coffee, and eat out, with day-to-day shopping, as well as seeing a show or a movie. My other support activities include bicycle riding, having barbeques, swimming, surfing, walking, sightseeing, relaxing at the park or beach, and fishing.
